My name is Mathilde, I’m 23 years old, and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A little backstory about my life:

I grew up in Aarhus and started dancing ballet when I was 7 years old. I began taking it more seriously at the age of 9 and moved alone to Copenhagen at 16 to pursue my ballet career.

I have done some modeling on the side since I was 13 years old and have always considered it a plan B in case ballet didn’t work out.

At 20, I had to stop dancing because of an injury, and I wanted to see what else life had to offer. That led to a small identity crisis and a lot of anxiety.

I tried to go all in on modeling, which meant I had a lot of free time. I started posting a bit more on social media when, all of a sudden, I got a random boost in followers.

I knew nothing and no one in that industry but found it super interesting and another career path where I could be creative.

In 2021, I started crocheting on and off but always liked the look of knitting more.

In September 2023, I finally started knitting and got hooked.
